Overuse Injuries

Let our expert osteopaths diagnose and treat your overuse injury

Overuse injuries can occur at any of the joints/muscles in the body.

They usually happen as a result of a change in activity or if the tissue is not strong enough to cope with the demand. As such, injuries commonly occur due to repetitive work activities, or due to repeated actions in sports.

Whether you’ve developed a stress fracture, injured yourself doing sport, or aggravated an arthritic complaint, osteopathy can help resolve your pain and restore your normal function.

Our osteopaths are experts in diagnosing and treating overuse injuries, we’ll provide you with a diagnosis, alongside a treatment plan and self care advice.

How we treat hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder pain

We’ll start by working out the cause of your discomfort by performing common orthopaedic tests. We’ll then put together a treatment plan. We prescribe exercises to do yourself and give you advice on improving your posture. We might take you into our gym for a more dynamic approach to shoulder pain or postural recovery
