Do you feel like your body isn’t moving the way it used to?

Are you searching for a low-impact way to build strength and improve your mobility?

Life has a way of catching up with us, long hours at a desk, time away from exercise, or even just the natural changes our bodies go through can leave us feeling stiff, weak, or disconnected. If you’ve noticed that bending, twisting, or even walking doesn’t feel as effortless as it once did, Pilates can help you restore that ease.

Why Pilates at Nimble?

At Nimble, our beginner-friendly Pilates classes are designed to help you reconnect with your body, whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to prevent one. By targeting the deep core muscles and focusing on alignment and controlled movement, you’ll start to notice improvements in how you move, stand, and even breathe. Each session is a step toward restoring the strength and mobility you thought you’d lost.

Whether you’re new to exercise or looking for something gentle yet effective, Pilates offers the best of both worlds. It’s low-impact on your joints but highly effective in building strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing posture. Pilates isn’t just about fitness; it’s about giving your body the care it needs to thrive.

Our classes are intentionally limited to a maximum of 8 participants, allowing our instructors to provide personalised guidance and hands-on adjustments, in a supportive and welcoming environment. All equipment including mats is provided but feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer.

New to Pilates? We run  4 week foundation pilates courses periodically throughout the year, as well as offering personalised 1:1 sessions. Contact us  for more information, or join our waitlist for our next course (see below).

Nimble Osteopathy

Why we love pilates?

At Nimble we love Pilates because it emphasises core strength, flexibility, and correct alignment, which are essential for overall body mechanics. The controlled movements and focus on breath can help reduce pain, improve posture and enhance mobility. Additionally, Pilates encourages body awareness, which aligns well with the holistic approach of osteopathy, making it a valuable tool for everybody, but especially our clients.

Feeling stuck? Want to start exercising but not sure how to begin?

If you’ve had a break from exercise, are managing aches or stiffness, or are new to Pilates, we offer two safe ways to begin.

You can start with one-to-one sessions for personalised guidance and a pace tailored to you, or join our small-group 4-week beginners course, Foundations of Pilates, which runs periodically throughout the year.

Both options are designed to help you rebuild strength, control, and confidence in your movement, without feeling pushed beyond your current capacity.

Start at the beginning and build solid foundations for long-term progress.
