Strength and Conditioning
Are you looking to resolve a new injury or longstanding complaint? Sometimes, treatment alone isn’t enough and that’s where strength and conditioning comes in.
The initial functional assessment is all about getting back to basics with body movement and takes place in our gym space. Zac will get you to perform a series of stripped-back movements in order to analyse your posture, body awareness, coordination and balance, as well as your speed. After which, he will advise on an individualised care plan that develops a strong foundation from which you can build and ensures you avoid further or future injury.
Re-examining how you move your body may sound silly, but you don’t just get into a car and know how to drive it, you need lessons. Some people, especially after pain, injury, or operations, need to be taught or retaught how to move properly again. Strength and conditioning with Zac re-educates the neurological and muscular systems to work in harmony.
During these sessions, you will improve your body awareness, flexibility, strength, and coordination as well as resolving any fearful movement patterns you have developed.
Zac Zac specialises in helping men with chronic lower back pain, postural challenges, recurrent and persistent sports injuries, or those seeking to enhance their athletic performance
